"I have been with people who have ordered from here and everything was good - nice taste, texture and visibly pleasing. The day I use my own time and money to aquire a meal, is the day things were not good. I ordered a Belgian waffle and was quite disappointed when it was hard and cold (hard enough to tap on a surface and not even drop crumbs; cold enough that butter didn’t melt). Because humans sometimes do things opposite of what they are suppose to, I thought to call and alert them. No one answered and the box was too full to leave a message. I went back and showed the waffle to the cashier. The cashier agreed the waffle was not satisfactorily made, but was also unwilling to fix it. I was told nothing could be done without my receipt, which I immediately presented. It was then stated, "I'll have the owner call you later to discuss what should be done about it." Discuss what should be done? Um..... maybe have it remade or refund the purchase, perhaps? Or offer another item? Store credit for later use? No action has been attempted on their behalf to remedy the concern. Quite disappointing."

"Very cute place. Lovely service , very welcoming and dog friendly. Came in with my pug and they even made her some bacon and water just for her. I’m vegan and they had a good variety of vegan food . I had the vegan breakfast burrito and my cousin had the tuna sandwich. Very yummy"

"My partner and I went here on a trip and it was one of the best places we ate the whole time we were in Portland. I had the Eggs Benedict on gf bread and it was the best eggs benny I've had, which says a lot because I'm a connoisseur! Plus their rosemary potatoes had me drooling they were so good. I also had the best lavender latte I've ever had here and have been trying a bunch of places near where I live and none of them even come close. My partner had gluten free pancakes and very much enjoyed them. They were fluffy and delicious. All in all, from service to quality of food, this was an amazing experience. Can't wait to go back."

"Where do I even begin! The food is amazing! If you’re trying to decide where to eat right now, look no further. We had eggs Benedict on biscuits with the rosemary potatoes (though I’m dying to try the grits!), and it was amazing! I’m a big eggs benny fan, and this is the best I had in years. I think maybe it had lemon and dill in the hollandaise sauce, and I don’t think I can go back to plain sauce now! We also got the soyrizo breakfast burrito and damn. It was huge delicious and ginormous. So good even non-vegetarians would gobble it up. Cant wait to go back and try more things! Especially those grits…"

"We are here twice while on vacation! The food was fantastic and the staff were kind and attentive. As a vegan, I loved that they had so many options available for us to eat. The vegan scramble was one of my favorite tofu scramble I’ve ever had. Great potatoes and toast as well. This place is a gem and I am excited to plan a return visit (or two) here!"
