Consigning Women

"I used to live in Lake Oswego, so when I return for a visit, I love to visit the various resale and consignment stores. In June I purchased a designer purse for $950.00. They have a store reward program, and based on my purchase I received $50. The catch is you have to use it in $10 increments, and separate items, all within thirty days. It's a pitiful program, whose only purpose is for you to buy more versus a reward for being a loyal customer. I will be skipping this store on my next visit!"

"I called and asked "What are you buying right now?" only to be told "We're a consignment shop. We don't buy, that's resale." Then I checked their website where it suggests calling ahead about the things you'd like to sell. Idk. I guess I offended the person on the phone by using the wrong word. No worries, I'll take my bag of unworn designer clothes somewhere else."

"Great selection, and I found some super cute cardigans that I would have loved to buy, but the women at the front weren’t friendly (well, they were fake friendly) and were talking about their negative feelings towards masks while I was in the fitting room, and when I came out one of the staff had removed their mask completely (meanwhile, she was coughing incessantly the entire time I was in the store). I left quickly since I didn’t appreciate their complaining about doing the bare minimum during a public health crisis, and didn’t want to catch whatever the coughing woman had! I won’t be returning, nor would I recommend anyone else go here."

"I was the only person in the shop and it felt like helping me was a nuisance to the staff. I get that my items weren't the brands they consign, but they were rude. Told me my clothes weren't "nice". I went away feeling like crying. Even if my items weren't up to snuff, I would've come back to shop had I been treated with kindness."

"I loved this store. Has amazing brands in wonderful condition. I got a whole new outfit and have already worn it. The women who work here are knowledgeable about the inventory and are very kind and helpful. Ca t wait to visit next time I'm in the area!"
