Last Lap

"You can't judge a book by its cover. My husband and I had lunch today at the Last Lap. I read some reviews and thought maybe we should try it out because it sounded like their food was pretty good. Well, I had a French Dip with a salad, both delicious. My husband had a Meatball sandwich and onion rings. He brought about half home. Our server was very nice, attentive and friendly. They have quite a menu! We saw a lot of folks coming in to get pizza to take out. The restroom was clean. I'm pretty sure we will be going back to try out some of the other yummy things they serve. Oh, and the prices were rather reasonable for this day and age."

"My husband and I have been coming here for years. Owner of the establishment walked in and turned down volume of the jude box. Owner got in a shouting match with my husband and another customer regarding the volume. There were only four customers that were there and they never complained about the music.to the bartender. Granted some of the songs could be loud and some music not so loud. After all the music was 1970-1990 rock. or even country. If there was a football or any sports on TV we would have never had played music. I can say that I will never come back again due to the recent situation with the owner and also the lame service from a bartender that worked on Tuesday. The bartender never acknowledge my presence and I had to say to her good morning when it was actually the afternoon. She was watching Keno for her numbers!!"

"Staff is in serious need of training. We had an incident with some of their customers harassing us, being racist and homophobic and staff members took their side. The chef that was working on Friday 12/15/2023 was extremely rude and would not give us the owners contact information. He insisted on us getting the information at the door. This was a group of educators celebrating a birthday, the start of winter break and a husband coming back from deployment. The way staff handled the situation was completely unacceptable. I will be letting everyone know never to come to the last lap."

"Still the best pizza in all of Washington county. The chain joints come and go but this place survives all the ups and downs over the decades because they just make a great pizza and don’t short you on the toppings. This is the only place I’ll order a classic pepperoni anymore because they make it with fresh ingredients and tons of pepperoni… so good! Full bar, large TVs for sports, and sometimes great live music. Oh, pool tables too!"

"Had a great time playing darts. Place is clean and very spacious. The live acoustical music was very good. We ordered a pizza and it was simply amazing. A friend ordered a mushroom burger that was just as delicious. The staff was friendly and quick to take our orders. Highly recommend."
