Cafe Yumm! - Meridian Square

"Much like many other patrons this specific location of cafe yumm is horrible at providing you with actual proper portions. They barely give you half portions in the bowls. The photo above is a medium original bowl WITH additional SW chicken. Even with the extra chicken item in the bowl it barely reaches the halfway point of the bowl. Every other Cafe Yumm I have ever been to is much better at actually giving you what you pay for."

"Don't get me wrong. I love the food. I eat Cafe Yumm a few times per week. I get the small Jazzy bowl with chicken added. I can usually only eat half and save the rest for the next day. However, this week, I noticed that I ate the whole thing. Strange, okay. Today I looked and the bowl was half full. I get it through GrubHub, but the very top of the bowl - rice, avocado, chicken, all of it - only reached the halfway mark on the container it came in. And it is definitely the same size container that it usually is. I would know - I get this a lot. Not only that, but I had two pieces of chicken and two slices of avocado. Something is definitely off. I'm disappointed that I paid $17 to have half a meal delivered. I'm going to watch this again next week. If it goes back to normal, I'll update my rating. Because I really like Cafe Yumm, but cutting your portion sizes back by half isn't the move. I checked the calorie content and that hasn't been updated on the corporate page. I would expect that to have gone down if they officially cut back portion sizes across the board."

"I ordered a medium bowl and it was half full. Other Cafe Yumm places are filled all the way up. When I asked about it, I was told it was because I omitted the salsa and cilantro. I said that ingredients don't take up half of the bowl. Then I was ignored. Edit: the manager said I could come in for a free bowl but when I did they said they threw the comp out after 2 weeks. It had maybe been 4 weeks since this issue happened and I wish I would have known there was a time limit."

"Won’t be going to this location anymore. My order is so so simply yet they consistently forget the sauce. And maybe 1/5 times they actually give me extra chicken usually I pay extra and it’s just a few pieces. Y’all think this is worth $10? Haven’t even had one bite yet"

"I would give -5 stars if possible. First, a large - same size as medium at other cafe yumm locations. Second, no utensil or sauce. Lastly, no chicken in order. I specifically opened it up and was told it was "on the bottom". Got home and it was no where. Add at least 10 minutes to wherever time to pick up. They're slow too."
