ALF'S Homemade Ice Cream & Burgers

"It was absolutely! Disgusting! And unsanitary the girl with the very short unbrushed hair and heart dog collar was extremely unwelcoming and very gross touching everything including her face and clothes and she didn't wear gloves I went to go get a refill my drink and when I walked up there she was in the back eating and then she came took my cup took out my straw refiled my drink then put the straw back in with her dirty hands and not using gloves the burgers were cold and chewy and the chili fries were disgusting and had no flavor to them and the tables were not wiped down in-between customers so we sat at a filthy table and the soda was flat and the girl didnt welcome anyone in or tell anyone thank you for coming or have a good day and on top of all of that i drove from salem to see the monkey that was not there i will definitely never be returning there what a waste of money and there was no room in there it was packed and barely any seating"

"First off, we came for the monkey, but....he's no longer here due to covid and safety, so don't expect to see any live animals. The inside of the restaurant is cute....well decorated. The cashier, with really short hair and a heart necklace on, was eating in between delivering customer orders to tables, and not once did she wash her hands! Ewe....health inspector needs to swing by, it seems like she also continuously touched her face, clothes, and numerous other items without washing. The food is okay, nothing to write home about. Burgers came out a bit cold, which sucked, since we waited about 45 minutes for our food, the meat was also gross and chewy. The girl serving and taking order was just grungy, and we left without ordering any ice cream due to sanitary issues. We won't be back!"

"Wow I have no words for my first time trying this tonight. Ughhhh mazing. As heck. The atmosphere, the friendly people, the way everything is made is vintage style. I looooooooooooove x a trillion this place. I'm definitely going back. The food is wow wow wow and ice cream is fantastic. I love u guys ahhhh. ...!!!!♡♡♡♡ oh and forgot to tell yall haha. There's a freaken monkey. A real monkey living in their hahaha. Update: 6 years later, hi so we went and got a few things and as usual they're still absolutely amazing, I seriously love their food. We ordered a lot and it took a few mins longer to get the food but homemade is best and you know it's made with love. We got their biggest burger this time and some other stuff we usually get. "Perfect flavors for everything, my chicken strips and French fries weren’t over salted or over cooked they both had the perfect crisp too them. My husband enjoyed his homemade patty melt and said not only was it perfectly cooked but the flavor was just right. The gals working today were both eager to assist and very friendly. You can’t beat the service or the food, especially at their prices! If you haven’t stopped off here it is HIGHLY recommended, they make all their Pattie’s by hand and their own ice cream! Come on down and give these girls a shout out!! We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!!!"
