"Went there about a year ago dealt met the owner had a good experience, he was nice and professional. This time when I called got some automated voice mail system..no one really called me back..had to chase them down for help letting them know I was towing a family vehicle there that needed attention. No one called me had to call again. Was in the area and called them on the phone to check in on the progress after a day went by and they hadn't updated me when the said they would that previous day...they told me the technician was taking it on a test drive? I was sitting in front of there shop and it was right where I left it from the tow service and you can't test drive the car it didn't run. There pricing was about 38% higher than 3 other auto shops I called when I got there estimate for the same work... They wanted over $500.00 to replace a headlight build when I went to local oil changers they changed it for $55.00. They charged me $160.00 to run a diagnostics when I shared it was the alternator and possibly a battery which it was. There parts and labor didn't align with other shops at all and I shared that with them didn't seem to care so it was cheaper for me to tow the car out of there which I initiated after trying to justify there quote with them. Told the employee I don't trust them and will never come back here. There overall attitude was rude and unprofessional in calling South Valley Automotive. The wanted over $6,000 they shared to get the car the work it needed. Last year they told me my transmission was failing...we drove the car for a year and this time they said it was fine...talk about feeling miss guided and lose trust in a service provider there it is. ... Quoted me $549 for just the alternator ...called a local dealer and can buy it for $329.00 brand new factory item. Overall I am done with these guys...lose my trust you lose all of my business and family business."
