"Today I saw Dr. Pham to get a fourth (and final, thankfully!) opinion about several dental procedures after previously getting two conflicting opinions from other dentists. Dr. Pham was gentle, generous with his time, able to communicate information in a digestable way, an attentive listener, and practiced informed consent during the exam. This is an anxiety-friendly, trauma-informed dentist, y’all! He took the time to help me understand the different procedures and how they relate to my dental care needs. He answered many, many questions and clarified with easy to understand analogies. My sense is that he was genuinely invested in insuring I understand and feel comfortable with the procedures. Ultimately, I left the appointment confident that I could make an informed decision about my dental care. When it was time for my exam, I was feeling nervous. Dr. Pham explained what he was doing, before doing it— and asked if it was ok. No shocks or surprises at all. He was both gentle and very thorough. I am not at all thrilled to have work done on my molar. But I do feel a tiny bit better because I truly do believe I’m finally in good hands. And that extra reassurance means a lot. "My regular dentist recommend that I get my wisdom teeth removed, and referred me to Dr. Pham. I was very impressed with now only how knowledgeable and professional his staff were, but also how kind and friendly each person in the office was to me. From start to finish the Doctor, receptionists, and dental assistants were amazing, and patiently answered all of my zillion questions. They got my x-rays done quickly, explained the procedure thoroughly, and was even able to do my extraction at the same first appointment, so I didn't have to wait another 3 hours without food.
