"The food was nasty, the chowder tasted more like sweet cheesy potato soup, the fish and chips were overly crispy. For $54.00 i was expecting tender fish and clams in my soup. I didn't take photos cause the food was too cheap looking. I did look at the desserts and they look yummy.. since I can't have sugar I had to pass. Plus they do have outdoor seating ..that's why I gave it a 3 star for atmosphere."

"Nice People, cute place, clean, and yummy hot lattes. Huge selection of delicious looking treats. Stones throw from the local airstrip. Pleasant town to pop in for a visit."

"Ordered 3 donuts and biscuits & gravy to go 10:29am e-receipt, got ticket and donuts and waited. 3 people working appeared disorganized, asked if I was waiting for coffee and to wait outside, noticed day old drink in windowsill, people waited at table for food, no wipe down after leaving, more intent on making mimosas, which looked decent, as people waited. Received B&G at 10:47am, and a sorry for the wait, see pic, had to reheat, bland, bland, and bland, and eggs that were way overdone. Better biscuits from a pillsbury can, donuts were chewy, They are building a bar nextdoor, maybe too much."

"MegPies Cafe was a pleasant surprise! I was looking for a place for brunch for a quick bite that wasn’t busy and also had a great menu and MegPies delivered! It is a bakery AND cafe so in addition to the cupcakes, etc it has a fantastic burger/lunch menu. I had the breakfast burger which was incredibly delicious & well made. It was a great size so it filled me up. The cafe itself is decorated nicely and uniquely. It definitely will leave an impression on you. Upstairs one of the managers set up a wall with board games. It was definitely a creative idea :) Thanks for taking good care of a hungry, solo traveler"
