"Sunday at the Oregon Coast, driving back to Portland. Tire gets a rock in it in Lincoln City, still a good 120 miles from home, turns out to be fatal to the tire and I’m on a donut that’s worth 70 if you don’t mind possibly having it blow. I get to McMinnville, 50 miles away, and every tire store there (and in LC) is closed. Dealerships won’t help me. Walmart doesn’t have a tire shop, and no Costco. Only place open is St John’s, who in 20 minutes have me up and running (and at more than 50mph!). Don’t know the kid’s name, but he was friendly and helpful and got it done faster than anywhere else would have."

"I was rescued by them 3 years ago when they gave me roadside service for a flat tire on my work van . Put on spare & drove back to shop to get a very reasonable replacement tire. I'm back today getting a set of four new tires for my car for a far better price than other places. No waiting."
