"Got seated quickly. Decent bar/grill environment. After ordering we waited 30 minutes for our meal. No one came to check in on our group of 4. There were 3 other customers at the bar. My steak, ordered medium-rare, was well done. The “garlicky” mashed potatoes were watery and no flavor. We had empty water glasses that no one filled. After asking for check, waiter was gone for 15 mins and then blamed chatty customers for delay and thought bartender brought us our check. Another 10 mins to get us on our way. Wouldn’t recommend unless a local, they were the focus of this establishments attention."

"Staff friendly and fun! Food good. Drinks made like we like them but they could use large ice cubes to keep the drink from getting watered down so quickly. Pricey but what at the beach isn't!"

"Made a snap decision to take a last minute trip to the beach on an unusually nice weekend in February. So did everyone else. Every place downtown was packed with up to two hour waits. Starving, we drove out here. It's not a touristy place, there were a few but many locals. Got seated right away, the food was great, maybe but as fancy, but solid and delicious (halibut sandwich was excellent). Everything was reasonably priced and there is great support for other local businesses as well (beers from Bills, smoked items from the Smokehouse). It felt more community than touristy and I can appreciate that, I'll definitely be back!"

"Been coming here for years for their oyster shooters ($3) — try them, you’ll love them. But today was the first time I had their oyster burger. Holy joy. Four juicy breaded oysters cover the bread. Tomatoes, lettuce, and pickle spear on the side. And their signature pea salad tossed with blue cheese and chopped red onions. Delicious, delicious. A pool table and some slot machines."

"Decided to try this place as it was a close walk from the beach. Half rack of ribs was the worst ever had. So so dry and the only salt or flavor is on the outside, from the vinegar based bbq sauce poured on top of it. Mash that comes with was ok. Fyi, they charge for to go orders, and a food tax. (Food tax is now at all restaurants within CB). Go else where. Will not be back."
