"They're rebuilding and it shows. Maybe after that it'll be better. No real concession stand or bathrooms right now. And the people who run it want to treat adults as kids."

"Very nice park! There are sidewalks to all the fields so my husband can help me get to the correct field in my wheelchair . Great variety of food. Very crowded and not enough handicapped parking even if we get there early. Great park and will go to as many games as we can."

"Pelican park has free concerts on Wednesdays (seasonally). Expect quality Zydeco, Cajun, or Country music. Free did is sometimes provided (but rarely vegetarian). There are no dogs allowed signs but people bring their dogs when events are not going on. Although I only being my Service Dog or my SDIT. They frequently hold events like the hot air balloon event last fall. The park has bodies of water and is a good place for a picnic."
