"A cool little picnic or BBQ spot in the middle of nowhere. :) Probably would be cooler if you could swim without worry from alligators, but I guess what can you expect in Louisiana."

"The mosquitos were not an issue (during the day) but bring bug spray just in case. The area was quiet and clean, and there was only one other person there fishing. We fished (without any luck) and hung out on the shore. I heard there is a 6’ alligator living In the pond, but there was no sign of it during our visit. But being in Louisiana I have come to accept there might be gators in every body of water."
"Went paddle boarding here and it was awesome! Really relaxing, I dont think there is a gator here anymore encountered a ton of turtles but nothing else."
