Reviews of Louisiana State Wave Pool
"Freshly painted pools and surrounding areas."
"The wave pool is clean, very fun. Very fun. It is not open everyday best thing to do is call Bayou Segnett for times and dates. Once the pool reaches capacity, no more people are accepted. Early is better!!!!"
"We stayed at Bayou Segnette State Park just outside of NOLA for only one night. We did not have a reservation; however, they had one spot large enough for our motor coach. It was located next to the convenience station and allowed us several inches of breathing room with our slides out and the next RV parked next to us. Most of the other sites were large and more private. This is a large park filled with tons of Jack Rabbits and Armadillos, but not so much on the shade tree front. There were many activities at this park that we did not enjoy, but it did offer many amenities as well as the convenient location to NOLA. The laundry is FREE!"
"The sites are flat, paved, and very clean but there isn't much privacy. Each site has two picnic tables and a nice little deck thing. There aren't really any trees between sites though. Overall we really liked the place except that the bathrooms we're filthy. The filthy bathrooms we're out of place because the rest of the place was very well kept."
"I had some vehicle trouble while visiting the park, and Tommy (Park Manager?) kept a watch on my boat and tried to help any way he could. I had some questions about the facilities, and a park ranger was dispatched immediately to talk with me. Great camper and tent sites, Wireless Internet, easy boat launches, and lots to do. We visited at Spring Break 2010, and had the most memorable Spring Break yet!"
