"Horrible! Not only was he rude and condescending, he didn't get my return done before April 15th because he has taken on more clients than he can handle, so he said he would have to file an extension and was going to charge me for it! Fortunately my previous CPA, whom I now wish I had stayed with, had filed an extension when he didn't hear from me and didn't even charge me. I paid a lot of money for the return Tommy finally filed. And then when I got an alarming letter from the IRS asking for additional information in order to complete my return, which I only had 20 days to respond to, Tommy was incredibly insensitive to my concern and when I asked him when I would get the information I needed from him, because the IRS said my tax preparer needed to provide that, he basically told me he had other more important things to do before helping me - even though he planned to charge me even more for his time.Then he actually threatened to charge me for the time he spent reading and answering my emails, because they had taken him away from other projects!!! Then to top it off, when I went to a tax preparer at H&R Block to help me with the IRS letter - which she did the next day! - she discovered that Tommy had made numerous really significant mistakes on my return. Including getting my date of birth wrong! I mean seriously? And he reported twice as much income as was really taxable!!!! All totally sophomoric Tax Preparation 101 errors. So I probably paid way more taxes than I should have and will now have to wait until the amended return is filed and the IRS finally gets around to refunding me the money. And I had to pay the new tax preparer to amend the return and correct his mistakes. His errors are probably why I got the IRS letter in the first place -that he was going to charge me to help me with - but in a way they did me a favor because it brought to my attention the egregious mistakes he made on my return that have cost me money I shouldn't have had to pay. This guy shouldn't even be allowed to prepare people's tax returns. He's totally full of himself and shouldn't be because he's incompetent and has no concept whatsoever of customer service."
