"This place is magical. We stayed in the Loft and had an amazing time. The way the sunlight filters through the trees and into the skylights and windows is beauty beyond words. The host was very accommodating, and the grounds were well kept. Can't wait to come back again!"
"Wow, what a gem! We arrived and were greeted by KW and he told us about the location. Beautiful country and grounds, the room is modern with a rustic look, a kitchenette, a sitting area with a day bed, the bathroom has a footed tub. We have traveled many places and my daughter (22) said it is her favorite spot we have ever stayed. There was even a homemade absolutely delicious appetizer waiting in the room."
"My wife and I visit here at least twice a year. We have stayed in all three of the rooms and love them all. The grounds are beautiful and the wildlife is amazing. I've never seen so many different kinds of birds in one place. I have spent hours just sitting on the porch enjoying the scenery. Great place to relax and unwind. We will be back!"
"Shadetree Bed and Breakfast is a hidden gem, as is the owner and operator, KW. We enjoyed a weekend stay in the loft unit and can't say enough great things about this place. The lodgings are rustic, but clean and comfortable, with lots of extras thrown in to make you feel welcome. The 4-acre property is a little slice of perfection, densely wooded and home to an astounding variety of songbirds and other wildlife. It's an easy walk through the historic part of town to local restaurants and shops. The highlight of our stay was visiting with KW, a wonderful host with a amazing life story. Thank you KW for sharing your home and your time with us!"
"We are locals to the area, but had our floors refinished and the smell drove us out. We booked a night at the Shade Tree. The owner made us feel so welcome and pampered, we stayed a second night. This place is magical. We stayed in the Gardener's Cottage and absolutely adored it and every little detail was taken care of. Our son loved the rope swing and the grounds for hiking. We will definitely come back in the fall!"
