"I awoke to a temperature of 83 inside my home on a Friday. Through my home warranty I was referred to one company who said it would be two weeks before they could service my AC. I was referred to Friedrich who said they could come out Monday. I explained my husband was in chemo currently and was told they would do their best to come out earlier. Saturday morning I received a call that they were on their way (the temperature in my home had risen to 88). Within minutes the problem was diagnosed and after a short trip to get a part, my home was quickly cooling down. There was tremendous professionalism and concern for my husband's health both by the women I spoke to on the phone and the gentleman who serviced the unit. My regular service provider had earlier told me that we would need a whole new system with a price tag of over $12,000. A capacitor was replaced and my AC is working perfectly."
"Home warranty company sent this company to my house. They were unable to solve my problem, stating my refrigerant line was 'inaccessible' and 'in the mud,' recommending I replace the whole line before recharging it. It was very clearly accessible, only covered with leaves. Either way, paid them $100 to not solve my problem. Had to argue with the home warranty company to send someone else out. He found the leak in the line, repaired the pipe, and recharged the system in about an hour and a half. The 2nd repairman was pretty confused about how anyone could have thought it was inaccessible. On top of all that, they are not very responsive, took over a week for them to finally tell me that it's inaccessible and not covered - a week without AC. They were somewhat rude on the phone when I did have the chance to talk to them."
