"Beware called them to fix fridge that was leaking from inside the bottom to floor, long story short they never found problem after 3 trips out Harold the repair was guessing and not wanting to do the work, after 3 trips still not fixed, this started mid October 2018, He we are February 2019 I called another company out because Romeros Appliance out Of Scott, had wheels on back order for months. Mitch Romero appliance repair came out and took bottom off in back said it was clogged drain tube there, I took pictures and paid them and Invoice clearly stated it was clogged drain tube. I Then called Romeros b Appliance repair back in Scott, to get refund since they clearly had not fixed what I called them out for, and all 3 things they diagnosed were not what was wrong with fridge. She was rude, said I was rude, she said she 2as appalled at the way I was speaking to her and she never listened to the situation and made a practical decision on happenings. Beware peeps they screen calls, don't call back when you leave messages. This was the worst experience in life for repair people I have ever dealt with. They don't care how there still in business treating customers that way, is because Lowe's and god knows who else contracts them to do repairs on there warranty appliance."

"How are they still in business?! This is the only company contracted with Lowe’s who would come to New Iberia to work on LG washers. An appointment was made for a Wednesday and I called the day before just to be sure. Had to leave a message. Called around lunch the day of and the answering service said they would let them know and have them give me an update. No return call and no show for repair. Called back two days later because I still never received a call and found out they only come to my area on Wednesday’s so I would have to wait until the following week. No confidence they would even show up then. I decided to throw away the 1 year old LG washer and bought another brand that is easier to get service on. I would NEVER recommend Romero’s Appliance Repair"

"I bought a Maytag washer back in March from Lowe's in Crowley, 4 months in and the thing stopped washing. I called warranty who set up a repair through Romero's Appliance Service, when the repair day came along and no-one showed up I reached out to Romero's and was told they didn't have anything booked, 2 calls to Maytag each with 30-40 minute wait time and several calls back to the repair company,several of those calls getting "disconnected" the receptionist refused to admit that the repair order existed and someone dropped the ball, I was scheduled with Mitch Romero, who came out and did the repair promptly. Now here we are again Mid-October and again the machine is not washing, I again put in a call to Maytag and they against my wishes want to book with Romero's, I remind them how they had trouble getting anyone to answer the phone, call back and used another company because of their receptionist. But, hey, what do I know, I am just the consumer. So they come out and my motor is kaput. Parts will be ordered and a call will be made to get the parts replaced, a week later I call and a different lady answers and tells me they ordered 3 parts and they are using a different vendor and it will be up to 14 days. Another week passes and I call again, they let me know they have 3 parts in (yes I caught that too, since they ordered 3 parts, what are we waiting on?) but are waiting on a part that is coming straight from Maytag (now we need 4 parts?), she suggest I call and see if I can get the part in faster (because you know, why would that be their job to call????) So I do and Maytag informs me, there is no pending order, so They call several times to get it figured out (all while I am on hold) comes back and says Romero's claimed the part was on back order, which was a lie per the Maytag representative, it was never ordered. Sooooo Maytag expedites the part straight to me (since that's all Romero's is waiting on, per what the receptionist told myself and Maytag) I am to call when it arrives Monday and they will be her Tuesday to finally fix it.....Monday comes and I call, receptionist is sarcastic about Maytag "finally" sending the part, she will check on the other 3 parts (yes the ones they are SUPPOSE to already have) and call me back to confirm for Tuesday.....no call back. I call this am and I am left on hold for 10 minutes, she never comes back on the line, nor calls back and I can not get back through to her. So another call to Maytag, and another to be told Romero's never ordered the other 3 parts. So the receptionist calls me, because Maytag called them several times and scolds me that she never said they had the parts. Which why would Maytag expedite 1 part if she didn't claim to have ready access to the other 3 parts?? I have asked for a supervisor to call me back to no avail. So here I sit 3 weeks later with a broken washer, having to go to the laundry mat several times a week and at the mercy of a company who is just blatantly not fixing my appliance,( I do know that there may be a chance the owner has no clue the actions of this receptionist). I asked for any number to contact a manager or owner and have asked in local groups and this seems to not be unheard of with this particular service provider( main complaint is the receptionist). So if you ever are in the market for new appliances I do not recommend Maytag what so ever or Romero's for repairs. Lowe's has tried to intervene as well to no avail and I wish they would have went with Mitch Romero's because they were great. Lowe's even asked Maytag to just replace it through them and they denied the claim. Lowe's is going to try and get me a loaner. If anyone has any advice or does know who owns the repair company, please let me know!!"

"I cannot recommend this company for any repairs due to horrible customer service. The warranty company for our microwave contacted them on 8/2/17 and Romero's called and set up an appointment. They came and looked at the unit for about two hours and called the manufacturer to see what parts needed to be ordered. The service tech said he would call to set up a follow-up appointment for when the parts arrived. After about a week, I had yet to receive a phone call, so I called them. They did not even order the parts yet and said they were waiting on the warranty company to approve the estimate. They did not offer to follow up with the warranty company so I called them myself and got the estimate approved that same day. It has been over 10 days since the estimate was approved and I still have yet to hear back from Romero's. I called and left a message and called again the next day. No one called me back and I have not been able to speak to anyone. So my microwave has been out of commission for a month now and there is still not a service appointment date set."

"I bought a new Maytag washer and found problems with it. I called Romero because they service new appliances for Home Depot. I made an appointment online and they called me to confirm it, and then called me the day before to check with me. The night before they were to come, I figured out that the problem was ME misreading the instructions. I called them the next morning to cancel and they were lovely about that. Even though I had taken up a spot on their schedule. Everyone I spoke with was very professional and polite. I certainly would call them in the future."
