Lakeshore Heating and Air Conditioning

"Posting on behalf of my mother. She called a week ago and made an appointment for Lakeshore to work on her a/c the next day. No one ever showed and they did not return any of the messages she left for them. I’ve tried calling them several times this week but they’re still not answering the phone and the voicemail is full. I also submitted a contact form on their website and have not received a response. She has been a customer for almost 50 years, so you can imagine our disappointment, to say the least. She now has another service company."

"Had these people out to my home to completely remove old HVAC, furnace and even new ductwork throughout house. Work was completed and I believed I was “safe” HVAC-wise for years. Unit started not turning on at season change (winter to summer and vice versa). Numerous “service calls” to repair b/c unit kept malfunctioning with same issue. Luckily, my son is now an HVAC with Payne’s. Had him bring coworker to check system. Turns out LHA, despite all the requested work, failed to replace wiring from thermostat. On a new install they used ALL old wiring despite original unit being so OLD, no one could find parts. The “repairs”? They rigged the control board to bypass thermostat so unit would blow (those of you reading this review understand how ridiculous that was). And, on top of this and charging me every time for repairs that weren’t repairs just “patches” so they can make it work for now, they never came out for yearly servicing which was part of the contract. Won’t use them again and I don’t suggest anybody else does either. Workers who installed units and ductwork, were high on weed most the time and were even bold enough to ASK THE CUSTOMER. I rolled them a joint, lol! Sure did! Didn’t mind b/c I was THINKING “hey, let them play while they work. Probably do a better job”. THAT didn’t happen, lol! So, in response to this, I’m leaving this bad review AND I’m calling to tell the owner that they’d better come fix my unit. And I want an inspector to inspect ALL wiring (if they did that, what else could they have done we haven’t found out about?) on the company’s dime or, I’ve documented all issues on both video and picture. I’ve had Payne’s come out and quote me a price on replacing everything. If LHA can’t make this right, then I’ll just take the company to small claims and they can pay for removing and replacing their work. I’ll be in contact tomorrow. Wait on me! Sincerely, Ticked Off"

"I highly recommend this company, not only did they reach out to me after seeing my fb post about my heat not working and how the other well known company that had come out showed no interest in helping us get heat during this winter blast! Jaime and Robert went above and beyond coming to my house ON Christmas Eve to do everything they could to restore some source of heat! I really appreciate y’all!"

"Lakeshore put the original heat and air system in my house when we built it back in 1972, and we have continued to use them since. They are always honest, pricing is fair and they keep us warm and cool! I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great company who will treat them fairly and do great work!
