"I had some wedding dress drama- somehow managed to get a spray tan stain RIGHT ON THE FRONT one month before my wedding- I showed up to porter’s on Southfield 10 mins before closing, FREAKING OUT. A very kind worker told me the manager would call me in the morning. I got a call at 7:30 the next morning- she was so sweet and reassuring! She told me the cleaning normally takes a month, but that she thought she could get it done in 3 weeks. They got it done in two weeks!!! I got it back in PRISTINE condition! Thank you to porters for easing my mind and saving my wedding dress!"

"Susan and her staff made sure I had my dress for a very special date. I was going out of town and really wanted to wear the dress. It had been sitting in my closet and had an a small stain on the front. I needed it to be done in a few days. She had to send it off to be cared for do to the stain. Never the less she made it happen!"
"I had to give it a star because it wouldn't not let me. I brought an item a few times to get cleaned. Each time they gave me hassle. For whatever reason i had to have a card on file and sign a release after they took my item. Policy. But if it was policy you didn't know that when I dropped it off. Was told I had to have a card on file. It wouldn't be charged until I came to pick it up but it was a way to get people to return for their items. It didn't have to be a "working" card it could just be numbers???? That didn't make any sense. I went picked my item up and took it elsewhere. I'll never use porters again and I'll never recommend it for a wet sock. It really deserved no stars! Poor customer service"
