"My husband has used H&R Block for years. He and I have been going the last three years, since we've been married. We're not going back again after this experience. I had scheduled an appointment with Patricia Sexton Malbrue, and I was optimistic about the appointment. But she pressured us into consenting for certain items that we were not comfortable with. It really frustrates me that we had to consent to our tax information being used for their different products, even though we opted not to use them. Just so we could go to the next screen to finish filing our taxes. At the end, we waited for her to give us the option to pay the fee to have our H&R Block service fee taken out of our returns, which we have done in the past, but she never gave us the option. When we went to leave, she said that we still needed to check out. When we asked her about the fee and having it taken out of our returns, she laughed at us and said "You don't want to do that!" Yes, we did. So from my understanding, she selected a response on our behalf WITHOUT asking us what we wanted. YIKES. Never coming back again."
