"MD has a good disposition and “bedside manner”. However, after 3 visits and multiple tests in Oct & Nov 2023 he told us he couldn’t find any reason for the problem that brought my husband in. Set him up to be observed every 6 months. After continued symptoms and problems we opted for a 2nd opinion. In the meantime, he ended up in the Hospital with a severe Kidney and Bladder infection. Even after I called their office earlier in the week to see if he needed to go on over there instead of letting the local clinic handle the UTI. NO ONE called us back. I logged on to the patient portal and began reading the Md Notes in preparation for his upcoming appointment with another Urologist. I was SHOCKED to find He made all kinds of comments in the notes that he NEVER told us. Including that he discussed surgical options with us and “patient refused”. He made comments that looked like my husband was being non-complaint. We were NOT told ANY of this!!! Had we been aware my husband may could have had treatment and avoided this most recent hospital stay. I recommend getting your notes and comparing what’s written to what you were told in the clinic. We are VERY VERY disappointed in Dr. Germany!!"
"Poor experience. Germany was callous to my suffering and offered no further evaluation. He was noncommittal on the causation of my symptoms, and said he could help me out with a prescription of viagra but that was it. It was a terrible experience for me."
"Would not recommend for new patients or for people with spotty cell reception. New to Ruston and was referred to him. I work in an establishment that has no cell service and it constantly interferes with receiving voicemails in a timely fashion. I let the Dr., who recommended him, know this before they sent it over. I received a voicemail Friday that said I had an appointment earlier that morning with Dr. Germany. (It was left on the 22rd but didn't notify until the 24th around 3pm). Which was a shock to me because I never verified any appointment or talked to this clinic. I tried calling all afternoon with no luck and eventually wound up talking to the front desk and they noted my account. This Tuesday (28th) I was able to get in contact with the clinic and rescheduled the appointment for April 4th. Today, I received a call from the receptionist for Urology asking if I got their voicemail (I didn't). She then told me that Dr. Germany is canceling my appointment and refusing to see me. After inquiring why this was happening, I was told it was because I missed my first appointment. I tried voicing my reasonings and she was very courteous but still stated that she would have to cancel. That I wasn't the only one he did this with. I understand if some places have processes they follow for no-shows but to absolutely refuse to see someone over a misunderstanding is beyond comprehendible to me. I've never had an appointment made for me without my consent. They stated that leaving me a voicemail is their way of saying the patient agreed/accepted/verified the time and date. It is hard to do that if someone is completely unaware of anything going on. We wouldn't even be seeing a urologist if it wasn't a necessity. If I ran my department this way, I would not be as successful with my career or employees. Left a terrible taste in my mouth. Can't even comment if he is worth going to or not because I never made it past trying to get an appointment. Hope this helps anyone who is considering using him. Make sure you have service and your notifications are appropriately going off."
"Dr Germany is an excellent Dr. He is very personable and easy to talk to about symptoms we all find a little embarrassing. He follows up with methodical testing and medication regiments. His appointments run on time and his staff are kind and professional."
"He performed a procedure on my son after I disclosed that he was suffering from a mental breakdown. I called several times pleading for Mr. Germany not to do this because my son was incapable of making this decision due to his mental state. Needless to say, Mr. Germany went forward with this procedure. Long gone are the days of compassionate doctors, that actually care about their patients. Furthermore my son paid out of pocket for this procedure, then the office filed my insurance and they were paid AGAIN. It has been months and my son still has not received the refund due to him since insurance paid too. I refuse to refer to Mr. Germany as a doctor, more accurately would be the word butcher! We are considering legal action."
