"My experience on the Haunted History Tours' haunted bus tour in New Orleans was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to our amazing tour guide, Moira. From start to finish, Moira's expertise and enthusiasm made the tour a truly immersive and captivating experience. One of the highlights of the tour was visiting the Katrina memorial and the charity hospital cemetery. Moira's poignant storytelling transported us back in time as she shared folklore and superstitions surrounding New Orleans' unique burial traditions. It was a chilling yet fascinating glimpse into the city's haunted past. The stop at Morning Call for a bathroom break and indulging in delicious beignets and coffee was the perfect interlude, adding to the overall enjoyment of the tour. Moira's knowledge and passion for the subject matter were evident throughout the tour, and her engaging demeanor made the journey both informative and entertaining. The comfort of the bus and the professionalism of the driver enhanced the experience even further. I especially appreciated Moira's encouragement to capture photos along the way, as it added an extra layer of excitement and mystery to the tour. Overall, I highly recommend the Haunted History Tours' haunted bus tour, and Moira as a guide, for an unforgettable exploration of New Orleans' haunted history. Thanks for an amazing experience Moira!"
"Our movie + tv site tour ended up being a private excursion for my mom & me. Simon was knowledgable, great at storytelling, grew up in New Orleans French Quarter & a good conversationalist. He gave us so many interesting facts & answered all our questions thoughtfully. The meeting point was just outside of The Apothecary -- in case you were wandering like us. 10/10"
"We book this tour and have Tiny as our guide, he was amazing super entertaining, we learn a lot of history which is exactly what we wanted, we wasn’t rushing us, answer questions. It was amazing !! And just like everyone in New Orleans we was extremely nice and friendly !! Love this tour"
"Loved this company. Christian (like the religion) was our guide and did an awesome job. We did the bus option because we had walked a ton of the city and wanted to explore further out. It was a post-storm foggy full moon evening - perfect setting. We made several stops with minimal time on the bus, and each space was unique. I wasn't looking for some theatrical scary story party; I wanted true stories that made up the true history of this city, all with a little eerieness to it, and that's what Christian provided. He also tossed in humor, and what I really liked was both his knowledge and respect for it all. He's got deep roots in it and was open to sharing anything we asked about, but what he gave a clear message of was respect to it all. Something 2 other companies did not do that passed us by - one playing with ghost catching toys at the Katrina memorial... To which Christian commented that these victims most of all deserved to rest in peace, which I really appreciated. I'm not into ghost stories & murder mysteries, but if we return I'd definitely check out their True Crime & walking tour, purely because it's clear they focus on the history of it while keeping it interesting. Would recommend these guys for sure."
"Don’t believe the negative reviews. If you love and appreciate history and focus on all this man can squeeze into a 2 hour tour then you won’t be disappointed. I loved it and even with a true historian and local this is a real treat. This isn’t a tour with folks looking for the boogie man to snatch and grab. I learned so much and highly recommend this to anyone looking to learn more about the precious history blooming from the French Quarter!"
