If you are a current client of this firm from this location and have difficulty getting through. You are not alone. Now here’s the bad news. She is no longer allowed to practice law in the state of Louisiana. You can call the LA Bar to verify this yourself. The office is empty, the phone left on a busy signal. So if you are reading this in horror because she disappeared while your case was still open, I feel your dread. We appear to have been abandoned as clients with zero notice."

"Zero stars. Sarah Coleman is a joke of a lawyer. Literally fueling my exes narcissism by not doing her job and being too scared to speak up for her clients. I’m now $5k in the hole and have nothing to show for it except a contempt charge because she didn’t let me know what I needed to show at the objection hearing and an extra contempt charge now because she didn’t get notice of a court date that SHE SET UP! Also refusing to file multiple contempts against the opposing party saying that the court won’t even accept them without me handling the one I had against me first. Took a deal that she convinced me was best and didn’t even make sure I got what was agreed upon and I didn’t I just agreed to give my ex everything she was asking for under the pretense that I was getting something in return to find out that all I was going to get in return is a contempt charge and nothing to help my children. DO NOT NOT NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM IF YOU WANT TO EVEN HAVE A CHANCE IN YOUR CASE!"

"I hired Ms. Coleman because a friend told me she was good. My friend lied to me. Here is what you can expect from Ms. Coleman. You can expect to pay $2,500 in retainer fees. She doesn't communicate with you about anything forcing you to call the office which all your calls is forwarded to a Alabama office. She doesn't return phone calls in a timely manner. She charges $25 per email and phone calls. While in court she doesn't speak up for you. I have no clue how I have my child 50% of the time and still pay my child mother over $1,000 a month. I could of did that myself without her help. I'm also still waiting on a email back I sent 2 weeks ago I guess I can stop waiting on that email. Do not hire her to represent you you will only feel robbed by this law firm. Only thing they care about is your money."

"Attorney Sarah Coleman is the worst attorney I’ve seen or used. I hired J. P. Coleman to represent me in a child support modification. Ms. Coleman, and I had one conversation during the 3 month span which was the consultation (extremely brief of course) about why I felt a modification was warranted. So I explained to Ms. Coleman that I sold a pharmacy that I owned a year ago, that the court incorporated into my monthly income. Which created a significant shift in lowering my monthly income. During our consultation I explained to her I would need a forensic accountant, because I have different streams of income. After 3 months of non-communication THERE WERE no recommendations on the forensic accountant she PREVIOUSLY STATED she had. The week of the trial she ask to look at my financials and tax returns as if she has a CPA license, WHICH SHE DOES NOT. I explained to her how reluctant I was to have A non-financial professional look at my bank statements, and financial documents, SINCE they can EASILY get loss in the numbers. So she decided to look into my bank statements anyway, she saw a transfer from the business NAME that I sold, to another business that I own. She said that she felt that “I was being dishonest with her and wasn’t forthcoming about my businesses.” , and she decided to withdraw as my attorney the day before court. She’s almost INSANE (remove delirious) in saying “I’m not being forthcoming with her” when we’ve only had one really brief conversation. There was never a conversation for her to better understand that the company had more than 1 part not just the pharmacy, and 2 additional owners in the business. Needless to say, we never had a conversation, and she always seem like she was second guessing me. She’s very inexperienced in understanding businesses so if you have one, it would be smart to stay away from her. She doesn’t understand the operations and/or functions, and she doesn’t believe in making phone calls. Also, last but not least, she filed for the modification that my 4 year old daughter could have wrote. It was a one line sentence that didn’t explain anything about why the modification was being asked for. Because she never took the time to meet or have a phone call to discuss my case. We didn’t talk one time except for the consultation."

"I hired Sarah Coleman because me and my wife had gotten a divorce but during the divorce we had another child and I said some really bad things to her. So my wife filed a protection from abuse order, and then had a consent form rewritten. Period before I hired Sarah Coleman. I had my kids every weekend after I hired Sarah Coleman. I got them every other weekend for the rest of our joint custody till my kids are 18. I called Sarah today to ask her how I could have this changed and she basically told me there was nothing I can do and I should’ve signed it if I didn’t like it. Period the reason why I hired an attorney is I thought she would be having my best interest in mind not my wife’s. And she was completely unhelpful today when I called. Because I was so upset. Do not hire this lawyer above and beyond everything else she’s impossible to get a hold of."
