About the Business
The Louisiana Small Business Development Center, located on Colonel Drive in Thibodaux, Louisiana, offers no-cost confidential business consulting and affordable workshops to new entrepreneurs and existing business owners. Serving the three parishes of the Bayou Region, including Assumption, Lafourche, and Terrebonne, the LSBDC at Nicholls State University is a trusted resource for business assistance in the community. Through partnerships with local organizations, economic development agencies, chambers of commerce, municipalities, and other community groups, the LSBDC provides counseling and training to entrepreneurs and small businesses in the area. As a member of the National Association of Small Business Development Centers, the LSBDC network is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, Louisiana Economic Development, and participating universities and community colleges.
