"I see another doctor within this practice, Dr Remedios, and she is incredible. However, when calling for assistance after hours, Dr Babin was on call. My child has been ill a lot over the last two years and when I’ve had to call on call I’ve always been able to speak to a doctor and received assistance. However, when I called to see if there was anything I could do from home or something I could give my child over the counter to help alleviate his nighttime symptoms (with the steroid and antibiotic he was already on), he would not take my call. I was told by the woman with the answering service that he couldn’t call in anything in for me and to go to the ER. If he would have taken the time to speak to me to find out why I was actually calling and shown care and concern then maybe I would have a more positive review but I’ve never felt more disappointed in dealing with a pediatrician from Children’s than I did tonight. Luckily, I was able to call and speak with another fabulous pediatrician with the River Ridge clinic, Dr Hulin, and she got on the phone, spoke to us and gave recommendations/made us feel cared for. Hopefully Dr Babin improves his on call protocol because we were not impressed and felt completely blown off."
