"After initial contact, Betsy Fischer began work on my child support case on February 26th, while I was unemployed. I was upfront about my financial limitations and placed a $4,000 retainer. Concerned about the overall cost, I was initially assured the retainer would likely be sufficient. However, by April 12th, after only one court appearance, nearly $3,000 had been depleted. Despite my verbal request to stop further billing due to financial hardship, invoices continued to be generated.
