"Charlotte was kind but that only goes so far in legal matters with strict timeframes. I drove an hour away to her office for the first meeting. After waiting for an extended period without her arriving, I questioned the receptionist. I then spoke to Charlotte on the phone and she gave me an ETA and I decided to continue waiting. We met and Charlotte listened to me and I felt supported. She gave me notes of information I needed to gather for her and stressed my deadline to me. I spent days gathering this information and emailed it without reply. Eventually, we met again in person. Charlotte printed out papers about a previous case for me to help me gather what she needed. She informed me during this meeting she would be taking my case. She requested that I provide her with a simplified account of events, referring to myself as the plaintiff. I took many days to gather this information and sent it via email weeks before the date that Charlotte gave me. On August 17 I sent this document. I never received a response via email or any other contact. I assumed she was busy working on my case. Nearing the deadline for filing, I contacted the office on October 12. The receptionist said she would check and get back to me. Instead of receiving a call, I later received an email stating that Charlotte is not taking my case. Due to this, I missed a crucial deadline that cannot be extended and loss the right to sue. This has really negatively impacted me and I recommend finding legal counsel elsewhere."
