"I am still dealing with the mess Lisa Prater Bailey made of my divorce. I am not sure if she was uncomfortable dealing with me because of the venomous statements thrown at me by my ex husband, which she NEVER questioned the validity of. Or, if she was uncomfortable dealing with me because my ex is an attorney who also used a prestigious attorney to represent him. No matter the excuse, it was unacceptable and I should have fired her when I noticed she didn’t ask questions about the legitimacy of his claims, etc. Other concerning factors were inadequate discovery and investigation, and failure to fully inform me of all the options available to me (particularly in child custody). It is difficult to fire somebody you already retained and paid large sums of money to. All in all, if you have a complicated divorce, or if you’re a woman being attacked by the claims of a venomous ex-husband, this is not your attorney. There are attorneys much better suited for contemptuous divorces."
