Eugene P. Watson Memorial Library

The Eugene P. Watson Memorial Library is located at 911 University Parkway in Natchitoches, Louisiana, United States. This three-story modular building spans 95,000 square feet and offers a variety of facilities for group and individual study and research. Professional librarians are on hand to provide assistance both in-person and remotely. The second floor houses the Reference Room and circulating collection, while the main office and Serials Media Department can be found on the third floor. Additionally, the library features the Academic Success Center, a computer lab, and Café DeMon Coffee Shop on the first floor. The Cammie G. Henry Research Center, also located on the third floor, is home to the University archives, Special Collections, and the Louisiana Collection. Named after Cammie Garrett Henry, a collector of Louisiana documents and rare books, the Research Center offers a wealth of resources for scholars interested in the cultural, historical, and literary heritage of Louisiana and Natchitoches. The Melrose Imaging Project digitizes images from the collection for easier access and preservation. Visitors are encouraged to make use of the knowledgeable staff and explore the vast array of digital information and scholarship available at the library.
