"I recently closed on a house without a doubt I can say this is the worst title company I have ever dealt with. My wife is a realtor and has dealt with many title companies and whole heartedly agrees. They are very slow to get things done and when called try to put the blame on other people and companies they are dealing with. I called them about some paperwork the lender the lender needed and had requested. I read the emails (multiple) the lender had sent this title company and well as saw their phone logs showing they had called Toledo Bend Title multiple times. They claimed they were never contacted, which was an outright lie. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE THIS TITLE COMPANY!!!"

"Called to ask about when title search would be done and asked what was the process and why it would take 6 to 8 weeks on a cash deal. Was NOT upset at this point. The lady says sir I know your upset I can ask if we can do anything, I begin to tell her I am not upset at all just don’t understand the process so I was asking. Before I could get that out if my mouth some other lady snatched the phone from her and with a very rude obnoxious attitude begin to tell me it was a 6 to 8 week process no matter if I was paying cash or not.blah blah blah. I just hung up the phone. Very unprofessional and rude."

"Toledo Bend Title stated the title commit on the home I am purchasing would be completed NLT 6/30/2021, it did not happen. Today, 7/6/2021 I am being told that they do not know when it will be completed. You have those organizations that rise to meet challenges then you have those (like this one) who find excuses when they fail to deliver. I would not recommend Toledo Bend Title, in fact the selling agent requested the use of another title company in another county because of the issues that I have encountered."

"Everytime I call to question the progress on a title and currently a title correction I cannot get a clear answer.I understand that they are busy but it seems all I get are empty promises.Either they don't know or they are so busy . I've yet to get a promised return call.Between Regional Title in Nederland area and Toledo Title this has been pure aggravation.This process all started in Feb. on our purchase of a home that is FSBO."
