"My now husband and I decided to move our wedding up to allow my grandfather, whom is very sick, to attend our wedding. This decision was made 2 weeks before we wanted to have the ceremony. In a frantic time where we thought that there was no way we could pull this off, Mrs. Colleen (who owns The Old Building) came in and saved us. Not only is she one of the most accommodating business owners I have ever met, but she has a heart of gold and chooses to love and serve others with her work. She helped us decorate, organize, and operate the venue without complaint. Without her, my wedding would not have been as perfect as it was. The building is absolutely stunning without ever having decorations, much less once all of the items get added it could not have looked any better. Mrs. Colleen was involved with all of our family members and made everyone feel like they were at home. Because of how she treated us, I view her as my own family member now. What she was able to provide us with holds such a special memory to me. There really aren’t words to say how grateful I am for her and her beautiful venue. Everything about this place is absolutely perfect, and if I were given the choice to do it all over I would choose The Old Building (and Mrs. Colleen) a thousand times!"

"Our daughter's wedding reception was on 11-25-22 at The Old Building in Berwick. How can you accurately describe one of the most perfect nights in the lives of parents, their children, and closest loved ones? I walked into Colleen's venue a perfect stranger, and was treated like an old friend. In the midst of a two week window because of a terminal illness, Colleen guided, facilitated and orchestrated everything for us in the most beautiful setting I could imagine. From natural wood beams, original architecture and natural lighting, The old building is beautiful without any decorations at all. All of this occurred and we don't even live here., however, this is where I grew up. Whatever special event you're hosting. This needs to be your first and last stop. Colleen, thank you for some of the happiest memories for me, and my family, the groom, and the family of the groom."
