"These days it's more often than not that I'm disappointed and frustrated with the U.S. post office or any UPS store or shipping and mailing place. So it was such an unexpected delight to find Parcels & Post on my trip to New Orleans. I've literally never ever had the type of stellar, friendly service Sam provided. She actually packed my collection of souvenirs and goodies I'd bought during my vacation and shipped them out the same day I dropped them off. I didn't even have to stay there in the store. I just dropped everything off and left them in her capable hands. They arrived in perfect condition, packed neatly, obviously handled with care! Even my Brocato's cookies arrived intact and unbroken. I can't recommend this place enough!"

"As the U.S. Postal service has devolved into rude, slow and useless, Parcels & Post is an oasis of pleasant competence. Heidi, Samantha, Lis -- all eager to help, knowledgable, and friendly. You pay a little extra, but so, so worth it. (It's like the difference between the private delightful ABC Titles vs. the public, nasty, slow DMV). Also, Parcels & Post provides extra services the cracky U.S. Post Offices can not: UPS, a wide variety of greeting cards (many locally made), and some random local books, bowties, and more. They even have a public (and clean) bathroom. Its also a coffee house-like hub of neighborhood news. If the U.S. Post Office on Louisiana Ave is a D-minus, Parcels and Post is an A-plus. (I also like the private Prytania Mail nearby, but Parcels & Post is my go-to)."
