"I don't know why this school has such high ratings. It totally sucked. I went there for 8th grade and it wasn't pleasant. Even though I made a few friends, there we're ppl who we're just bullies and mean. The teachers didn't help nor was the rest of the staff."

"I attended Marrero Jr High in 1964 thru 1967. The principal (Mr. Cassane ?) smoked a pipe and you always knew where he was by the smell of his pipe. When my buddy and I got into trouble the vice-principal (Mr. Guidry) would send us to the coach (Mr. Latoof) and he would make us do exercise until we dropped. We started the day across the street at Juneau's where we also ate lunch (50 cents for a foot long sandwich). I wonder if the weenie sandwich is as good as I remember it? I now live in the Northwest and hope to visit the Westbank in the next year or so."

"I AM IN 6TH GRADE I LOVE THIS SCHOOL SO MANY FUN ACTIVITIES AND SO MANY GREAT PEOPLE.AT GYM THE FOOTBALL TEAM KEPT TAKING THE BALL IN 3RD PERIOD ,IT WAS SO TIRING TO GET THE BALL AND WHEN WE GOT IT BACK THEY TOOK IT."

"I went there for 3 years, 6th, 7th and 8th grade, its a really neat and cool skool, ofcourse, like any other skool, it got bad and good kids, id recommend stay with the bad ones :p, and on the teaching side, it good, its not easy and hard, and barely gives home work, classwork might be heavy depending on the teacher. Teachers are nice to you if you're nice to them...... But they try to treat you the best to make u like the class."
