Reviews
"Look I'm not too sure about the education system in St. Charles Parish. I'm simply leaving this review for the garbage website they have. The only things it's good for is getting a physical address, or registration .Other than that it is completely useless. For the life of me I can not find any event calendar for my kid's school ."
"Had interview with human resources for job."
"Firstly, the day to day people who you see are always so pleasant and do everything in their power to help you. But this school board is run in an archaic manner that is an ill representation of the current intellectual and technological state of the world. In 2022, this school board office requires past students to fill out a paper document, IN PERSON, to request and receive past transcripts. If you live out of state without family members that are nearby this location, may you find mercy with someone willing to break protocol. There is no way to have transcripts emailed to the required destination either. I had a brief conversation with several employees of this office that repeatedly expressed that they have been requesting for years to have this process updated. The disrespect to the community and prior students of this parish, as well as the waisted time, energy, and resources due to the chosen manner of business is not only unnecessary, but also lazy. Hopefully one day the powers that be will wake up and have a spot of respect for their employees, and communities that they serve."
"The school’s response to the recent article denying a student participation in graduation based on dress code is unacceptable. "We appreciate this being brought to our attention so we can continue our work towards more inclusive and equitable practices. We applaud Mr. Butler for his kind gesture and selfless act," the statement said. Sure. That’s good. A long time coming but it is not enough. How do you teach the teacher who tried to stop the student from participating common sense? Compassion? Having equitable rules is a good start but enforcing them with common sense is what’s needed. This student obviously was not trying to disrespect the ceremony or cause a disruption or make a statement. Jeeez! Shouldn’t have been a issue to begin with!!"
"What a travesty to try to break a child's spirit by denying them access to the graduation they worked so hard to accomplish. I would not recommend or attend such a school with a policy which is meant to cause harm to students and families. This teacher or faculty member, should also be acknowledge for their callous heart and actions."
