"Not sure if Dr. Osafo was having a bad day or what but, I have never been talked to like he did to us today. He raised his voice, clapped his hands at us. Very very unprofessional. I promise we will NEVER refer anyone to him! Thank God the surgeon Dr. Byrnes, took the time to explain and will refer us to someone at Willis Knighten."

"I wouldn’t given negative stars if I could. Dr. Osafo told my mother that she had metastasized lung cancer, and that she couldn’t receive radiation, and that essentially she was terminal & would die from the cancer she had. That she could got not be cured. He was negative, had horrible bed side manner, & obviously has no clue about the practice he supposedly “practices”. Dr. Osafo was argumentative and demeaning. As for his prognosis & treatment plan: He was WRONG!!! Seriously WRONG!!! We then brought my Mother to MD Anderson in Houston. The Dr.’s here are AMAZING! They have advised that her cancer has in fact NOT metastasized, nor spread into her lymph nodes into her leg, where Dr. Osafo 1st claimed. The spot in her leg was a hematoma from another procedure. It was obvious, & plain as day on the PETSCAN. The drs here have started chemo, & she in fact can have radiation, & she starts that tomorrow. Her dr here @ MD Anderson in Houston, Tx. is Dr. Frank Fossella. Dr. Fossella is such a true Blessing! If you go see Dr. Osafo, my advice, get a 2nd opinion, and/or get to MD Anderson if you’re able. If my mama would’ve accepted Dr. Osafo’s advice, her cancer would have in fact spread/metastasized. HOWEVER, thank GOD, we brought her to MD ANDERSON. All her care team here says she will be cured! They are all super positive, supportive, compassionate & loving. I pray whoever sees Dr. Osafo, gets a 2nd opinion. Don’t settle for Dr. Osafo’s diagnosis & prognosis. God Bless!"
