"Bus driver comes on the afternoon but not the morning. No one seems to care that my child won’t be going to school anymore."
"I want to thanks Mrs Ada for helping me out, she was super nice and she called me back every time se said she will, She make sure everything was good with my daughter bus ride."
"Update 8/9/23: first bus drivers don’t show up for work at all and run their routes, then one of them hits a kid!!!! C’mon EBR transportation, get it together! What the heck!!!!! ______________ Tried for weeks to get a hold of my son’s home bus driver, and no luck. They don’t answer the phones nor email back. IF/WHEN they do answer the phone, they are very rude. We could not use the bus system until we got ahold of the home bus driver. I needed to know what time they were going to drop them off. I don’t know how parents use the bus system, if they don’t communicate at all. Horrible customer service"
"HORRIBLE experience this morning at the East Baton Rouge Transportation office. After waiting on a trail bus driver for 30 mins she arrives, indirectly acknowledges my children and then blatantly passes us up. Never stopped at the stop. Did not use stop arms as she was supposed to and continues to drive to another bus stop. I went to the transfer site to drop my children off where I spoke to a supervisor who had no knowledge of the reasoning she choose to pass us by. He allowed my children to board their school bus. I proceeded to the transportation office to discuss this matter further with the transportation director. He showed no compassion, empathy, and concern. His exact words to me was to “feel how I feel” as I discussed the facts. He stated that my children weren’t riding the correct bus (route) although this was my children’s assigned bus (route) all this current school year as well as the past. This is new to me. I feel as if me and my kids are being targeted because my mother was a former employee of the department who recently had to leave because of a false allegation the leaders attempted to defame her character with. I guess because she proved her innocence and was granted an apology and a transfer they’ve decided to target my children. Now I can see what stressors my mother endured for the last 6 years working under such unprofessionalism and lack of concern for the people who should matter the most “CHILDREN”. Resources like public school transportation are made for parents like me who work and can’t transport kids to and from school however the transportation office has HORRIBLE customer relations. God please grant me the ability and resources to not have to use the EBRPSS transportation, and thank you for moving my mother from those stressors that clearly don’t align with who she is!"
"Barbara Dunn is a poison to this company. She a typical combative and unprofessional black employee. On 12/12/22 she had released my son to a stranger without my consent knowing he is Autistic and non verbal. It was bought to my attention from another parent that this was calculated. The parent has informed me that Barbara Dunn intentionally talks about me in-front of my child, her employees, and other parents about me “coming late”. The bus driver and other parent both agreed that her actions were very unnecessary. The parent has also shared that Barbara Dunn said she will intentionally leave my son at the bus stop by himself I were not there on time. She is only a BUS ATTENDANT and I do not understand the problem she have if she only works a few hours a day. I have read reviews about how horrible communication is from this company and how most parents are not sure when will the bus arrive. The time fluctuates regular and you can never be sure if to come 20 minutes early or 5 minutes early to the bus stop. I have proof and recorded audio from other parents and the bus driver stating how Barbara Dunn made these unprofessional remarks towards me. I do not feel safe with my child riding the bus with a bus attendant that has strong hostility towards me. She needs to be fired and never hired around any other children any more."
