"The recruiter never told my son that he was accepted no calls nothing until four days before he left was recently denied his appeal because of something that they said happened that never happened for a reason that he was separated according to the letter! He never refused any test academically or drug test he took both drug test willingly, and his results were within return requirement, and now they say he refused a test ! He was going to Job Corps to better himself and to get farther in life not because he was court ordered or because he was a troubled kid it was because we couldn't afford School and now you guys want to lie on kids to keep them out of class ! Why? He took all his tests that was asked of him willingly it was well under the levels that you guys required we would like further explanation because you can't be dimissed for something that he never did and it can be proven that he never refused to take a drug test or any test academically or otherwise! He never gave Job Corps any problems while he was there at Shreveport!!! Not one disciplinary not one problem with any of Job Corps staff never once was what's was we told that he refused to drug test I was told by the center director that it was because he had tested positive for marijuana so therefore how can refuse a drug test when he took both drug test when requested by staff therefore he did not refuse a drug test! I myself being a Job Corps graduate from North Texas Job Corps I had never been so ashamed in the program as I am today and in this specific Job Corps Shreveport Center they lied and forced my son out of the school!"

"If I can give it a half or zero Stars I would that's it that's all they treat your kids like a military jail here. New Orleans Job Corp is way better nicer cleaner better people better food everything about it is really good"

"DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE. This place was a horror for me. The staff is terrible and so are the students. I even had a RA try to fight me and they kept here there. If you care about your kids and their mental and physical being keep them away from here"

"Don't get sick at Shreveport jobcorps. The staff have zero empathy or sympathy and don't care about your problems. residential advisors are especially bad at their jobs it's like zero training or social skills is required to work here. If your skin is melting off and youre drowning in your own mucus don't miss going into a room with 40 people to hear unorganized statements early in the morning or it will be held over your head as you get written up. This jobcorps is ranked 112 among 116 jobcorps around the u.s if you can go to a different center I highly suggest staying away from this one because the numbers dont lie. Jobcorps=no free time and no fun"

"This is literally the WORSE program I’ve ever experienced! The whole school needs to be shut down . From the staff to the students it’s horrible. I’m was a student there and I wish no young person should ever experience what I had to go through at the Shreveport job corps center . The staff aren’t there to help the students whatsoever !!! The staff is in cahoots with the students when it comes to mess and fights and the actual innocent people are the ones who get removed from the program. I actually fear for my life being here ."
