"The place is confusing and the people are okay. I just don't like that the area is tight to park in and the make you use a portable potty. I went to Valley Wings to use their bathroom, and get something to eat (16 W Airline Hwy B, Kenner, LA 70062) which is a short walk away. I got lucky enough for there to not be many trucks or trailers around so that I can back into a door easy. For a new driver......good luck. Go inside and let them know that you can't back. Preserve your cdl instead of being scared of embarrassment."

"Would just like to reiterate this place is a joke all around. Check in procedure sucks I got called to go to dock door 48 and it was occupied and then they told me and another driver to go to door 46 which put me and him into an argument. Backing into these docks is ridiculously tight almost impossible."

"People are friendly and they are fairly quick to load. But it is very tight! Took nearly 7 minutes for me to get positioned to back in between two other trucks. Had to blindside as that provided me slightly more room to maneuver. Definitely not a place for new drivers with little backing experience."

"It is tight. There’s no denying it. But they leave enough space between docks you should have no issue. Just setup and maneuver it in. I got here early so they had plenty of open docks. Appointment was for 3 and they got me in at 10. Just call ahead and talk to there shipping department. If you have to wait there’s a pilot in laplace 16 miles away. Wouldn’t go to the small truck stops over here. Once you get in you have to call the number listed to get a door assignment"

"Can be difficult to maneuver at times. Best to have early appointment before it gets crowded. Don't understand the complaints from the relocated foreigners on the employees. Found them to be quite nice and easy to get along with. Truck Stop where you have to check in can be a pain. Several locals and a tree trimming company park their vehicles there all the time making parking your truck difficult."
