"I got here and I'm in the primitive camping area but it has water which is awesome!! The good thing about this is the primitive camping is only $6 a day and the RV camping I believe is $12 a day. so far it's been nice and quiet and the park manager is extremely nice I would recommend this spot to everyone. It has Day picnic tables and it has a playground for children. This is a really nice place to camp or just come and go for a day at the lake."

"This is an absolute hidden gem if you’re looking for campgrounds near Shreveport! We stumbled upon it after our state park reservation was canceled due to flooding and we really lucked out. There is a swimming area on the lake, nice playgrounds, frisbee golf, cornhole area. Everything is covered and shaded. There are no sewer sites but there is a dump station and everything is well maintained. Great paved loop for kids to ride bikes around and everyone was quiet and chill. Each site has its own covered picnic table and garbage barrel. Now here’s the best part… it’s only $12 a night (as of June 2023). You’ll have to call and let them know you’re coming is all. Campground host was very friendly and helpful with getting us in on very short notice."

"This park is definitely a hidden gem! Very nice facilities for a short stop in or a longer visit. All camping sites have 50 & 30 amp services, water and a dump station. There is even a 110 plug in the box. Absolutely beautiful "
