Reviews of Tourist Information
"One of the employees at this location was greeting and dapping with a younger black man with twists who had previously been screaming, “Kill yourself!!” on repeat to a trans tourist passing in front of the store. I say this as as a local, keep your trash friends out from in front your store because we aren’t about all that nastiness in this city. Tempted to go set up in front of your sidewalk and give free, legitimate local advice."
"WASTE OF MONEY! Booked the Elite City tour as recommended by Keith and it was a waste of $100 (two people). The tour was lead by Tony and he shared minimal history about the city and its areas. He was more focused on random pop culture, meaningless facts and cracking jokes than educating us on the history of the city. I don’t often pay for tours and this is exactly why. Really depends on who you get. If you’re willing to take a chance only do the tour if Henry is leading."
"One can only feel mislead and deliberately duped when purchasing a Swamp boat tour here. Firstly, this is not a tourist information office, its tour sales shop. I had what only could be described a disingenuous and unprofessional interaction here This Tour booking company took a booking deposit for 16 people when there were only 12 taking part. Unfortunately, this only came to light after our Swamp boat tour. When questioned the company refused to return $120. Their staff’s justification was "it only an extra $10 per person". When challenged with the company’s management. They insisted we requested a 16seater boat..... bizarre! because the actual boat we took the tour on could only accommodate 12 people maximum. Strongly recommend booking activity directly with vendor."
"Went here a little later then I should have when visiting new orleans. Next time I go somewhere with a bunch of tours I will be sure to check out something like this on day 1. However they were still really helpful and gave us a ton of tips on what we should do for the rest of our stay. This place also rents out mini scooters that's are cool and not to expensive."
"I stopped in here to book a couple of tours quickly. I wanted to do a small airboat ride vs. the bigger boat. This gentleman Ray, with his big smile & sunny disposition was so helpful. He knew right away which one I should do & set me up with my hotel pick up. He also arranged a city/cemetery tour with hotel pickup. So convenient & what a friendly soul!"
