"OMG!!! Where do I begin!! I'm not going to talk down on other medical type facilities. However I got more information, more engagedfrom any other place I have been!!!"

"As Ms. Kaylea said, he always presents himself in a positive manner to make you feel as comfortable as possible. And yes, he is quirky, sometimes goofy, has his own personalized style of how he does things; i.e. he is not your typical doctor you imagine in your head. Dr. Sentell is a man of "many hats". Sometimes hes acting in a psychiatric way, sometimes hes more of a counselor, sometimes hes more of a friend with an open ear. Hes extremely flexible with your needs and always puts on the "hat" he feels you need during your visit. This is important because it shows hes doing his best to pay attention to YOU. This means hes showing he recognizes your humanity. No one is just a number. And to the review below pertaining to a "pill mill" - are you insane? Because I know a great doctor that can help you out. Hes managed to get a reduction in the amount of different prescriptions I've needed in the past. Reduction. Not increase. And, more importantly; with a positive outcome. Hint; he has something in common with both our reviews. Scheduling can be difficult at times but that's... with many places! But in this instance it's good! If scheduling is booked, then that means so many people want to see him... and could that be because... he makes a difference? In my 7-8 years, as of this review, I've seen him almost every month, sometimes twice, because of his patient care. Ms. Stacy is a beast in the office, pulling off anywhere from 2-4 tasks at the same time. So if you're looking for a cookie cutter style of nueropsychologist that's practicing clinical psychology with prescriptive authority, along with brain training and general CBT.. then... sure, this is a great place for you! "But you said hes quirky.. and like.. goofy... and stuff..." Yes, I did! But also said many hats. What a lot of people also fail to do is let their doctor (ANY doctor) know what they need and when somethings not helping. Same applies here. If you sit down with him and tell him you need a straight medical approach towards your treatment, then ask and you shall receive. If you need a friendly therapist approach; received! You want a non pharmacological approach; done! When it comes to the matters of the mind, it's not always black and white and sometimes you have to play a little back and forth to get somewhere. In the end, we are all human and he does a great job with what he does or I wouldn't have continued to see him for as long as I have. (Still going, by the way)"

"Dr. Sentell is one of the few doctors I’ve dealt with who has cared so much about building his patients’ coping skills and knowledge about mental illness. He’s not necessarily a therapist but he always listened intently to what I had to say and actually asked me probing questions to get to the best medication fit for me, which was not the case in my prior experience with a few different NPs and psychiatrist. The staff is so sweet and helpful (shout out to their office manager, especially). And Dr. Sentell is one of the quirkiest and most interesting people I know, as well as one of the bubbliest/happiest. That’s really not an exaggeration either. If you go to him, you’ll understand within 10 minutes. I always left his office in a better mood. 10/10, would recommend"
