"We LOVE it. The tour guide was entertaining and informative. The boat was not over crowded. It was beautiful and we saw a good amount of gators. We were super happy with it!"
"While in New Orleans, stopped for a swamp tour with “Jean Lafitte Swamp Tour”. I must say, even as a fan of the show, “Swamp People “, I enjoyed the sites and history provided on this tour. Our Captain, boat captain, was insightful, entertaining, and even provided good photo taking experience for swamp visitors memories. I would definitely recommend. Side note: Bring insect repellent, seriously. You’re in swamp land, the mosquitoes thrive there, and have no problem with fresh swamp visitors nutrients."
"Really great tour, worth it! We did 2pm and the weather was perfect, all overcast with sunny bits here and there and lovely breezes. We saw 8+ gators, owls, cormorants and turtles. Our guide was Lou the Swamp Guru and he was both very funny and informative. What I thought was cool is if there was an animal, he would turn the boat around so both sides of people on the boat could see it. Downside that is not the tour's fault is that if you couldn't get a pick up and ride shared to and from, it's a pain and likely a bit of a wait to get a ride pick up."
"We visited on Valentine's Day 2024 at noon. Brent was our captain. The tour was excellent. He really took his time to slow down and stop for everyone to take photos of any wildlife we came across. Our tour had tons of Gators on it. Well worth the money"
"Glad we made this trip. The guide (Jason) was excellent and cracked a few dad type jokes. He knew where to find the alligators. Loved the natural feel of the area. Would love to do this during the warmer months to see more of the trees with their foliage. High points were the eagle's nest."
