Reviews of Fairview Treatment Center
"I just tried to make a phone call to help a family member out. They transfer me to Mrs. Kristle Landry and I was on hold for a couple of minutes and then all of a sudden she press the wrong button and for the last 5 minutes I can listen to her personal conversation with a friend. Very unprofessional. the reviews must be correct. It is sad people are looking for help and this is what you get."
"Well i checked myself into this place 1/31/18 and checked myself out this afternoon at 12. Im so relived that i am home cause my experience with this place was awful. Food was so gross that i would not feed it to my dog. I slept alot cause of all the valuim they dosed me with the first night. When your in the detox faze you are not allowed to leave your room. So i felt isolated and alone.... No one on one counseling at all. Cant use the phone for 5 days while your in detox. Some of the staff was amazing the other really could care less how you felt. So cold and beds were so uncomfortable. It straight felt just like jail. So i talked to my consuler Jason which he was pretty amazing to me. But he tried to talk me out of signing myself out but i had my mind set that i wanted to go home. They wont let you have any chocolate or caffine for 5 days cause they say its a ( trigger) personally that whole place is a trigger. Oh also they wont let you even sing cause its a ( trigger) well they triggered my ass right out the doors. Sorry for the bad but not sorry cause the people of the public really need to know that this place needs to be shut dowm and remodeled. They straight treat ppl like we are caged animals. Some ppl may love but fairveiw just wasnt for me. But hey at least i tried Unhappy addict, Dawn Menard❤❤❤❤"
"My only real complaint is the food. They only get a dollar to feed the residents and the quality shows it. Just like jail it's all Turkey, the only alternative is vending machines. I asked the staff if they would eat it. They bring their own food. They need to figure out something because the food alone would make you want to leave. You'll stay sober just to never want to go back. It's also cold uncomfortable and feels like jail most of the time. Oh and no individual therapy. You're mainly there to fill a bed. They don't care and it shows. Oh and look in the ceiling if you don't want to stay sober."
"A family member went here and it was wonderful. The staff was great. It helped 2 of my family members learn how to live sober . On their way to recovery! Thank you Lord!"
"If you have the option to go somewhere else (if you have insurance or Medicaid) then go somewhere else. This place is awful. Extremely cold, uncomfortable beds, if it is raining, you can't smoke, no private therapy sessions and if you ask for one they find a reason to say no, no psychiatrist on site nor does one come to visit, they don't even give you benadryl to help for sleep cause you will not be able to, the food is awful and the list goes on and on. Only come here if you have no money, insurance or Medicaid. And even then u have to pay 60$ and the place is not worth 60$."
