"Our experience was incredible from start to finish. We were in the area and we called to see if we could go on a tour that same day. The lady who spoke to me on the phone was very polite, friendly and patient and answered all our questions. We arrived to meet Eli who greeted us warmly and briefed us on everything we needed to know before departing the dock. We were lucky to spot some gators pretty early on in the journey, however Eli noticed some dark clouds rolling in fast and made a quick decision to turn us around and get us back to safety. He asked if we were happy to wait for the storm to pass and continue after which we were, so he gave us a recommendation of an awesome restaurant we could wait at nearby (Blue Birds Fish Camp which I will also review) and said he would call us with an update. Eli kept in contact and as soon as he was absolutely certain that the bad weather had passed, we went back and continued on! For the entire journey we were both completely hooked on seeing the wildlife, the flora, and hearing about the history of the area - all of which Eli was incredibly knowledgable. Thanks to the storm making the weather a little cooler, we saw more gators than I can count, and birds, cattle, insects, fish - all of it! We learned so much and there wasn’t a dull moment. Eli is also very respectful of the environment and it’s inhabitants, and does his best to ensure he’s not disturbing anything from its natural rhythm. Thank you Eli for keeping us safe from the storm and for teaching us so much about the swamps and it’s creatures. Next time we are in the area we will definitely be back!"

"If you’re visiting South East Texas, make a call, set a reservation and bring your family, friends and all for a ride ‘round the Sabine River. Mr. Eli is so knowledgeable and SO personable. Wanna see gators? Even on a hot sunny day with other boats on the water, he still helps you find them. Truly though, Mr. Eli made everyone laugh, regardless of native language or nationality, too; and you’ll leave knowing so much more, with truly a greater appreciation of the history and natural wonder of this part of the land.
