Laureate Academy Charter School

"My children both attend Laureate and have done so since kindergarten. I have watched my children grow academically and socially over the years and could not be prouder. The Laureate faculty have been amazing."

"Laureate Academy Charter needs to expand more in the area of there pick up location. I've been a resident of the Woodmere community back when that area was only trees and woods! You have parents and love ones that are parked in a line waiting to pick up there kids from school. That line wraps around Post Dr. , Oakmere Dr. And Woodmere Blvd. This need to be looked at carefully since this charter school has grades from Kindergarten to 4 Th Grade which mean your going to have alot of kids packaged into a small building that is housing them now! My suggestion is the school to utilize the St. Bosco church parking area and Woodmere park parking area. And also the parking that is on side of your building that's not being utilized! There is to much traffic caused by this charter school not having adequate waiting area and if it's out grown it's use, this charter school needs to be moved to a bigger location other than in front of Woodmere Subdivision! Traffic when school is letting out is out of control, with the school having 1 detail Jefferson parish deputy that can't be in all the places that are needed, this hasn't changed since day one of this charter school openIng up in front of Woodmere subdivision."

"My daughter has attended Laureate from the very first day they opened their doors on 6th st.. She began kindergarten here and is now beginning 4th grade. The staff is phenomenal and this school exceeds our expectations. Laureate puts the scholars and their education first. They have an amazing curriculum that challenges the scholars. Hands down this is the best school to put your children in, especially if you want them to have a high quality education!!"
