Arthur Ashe Charter School

Arthur Ashe Charter School is a primary school located in the vibrant Gentilly neighborhood of New Orleans, Louisiana. Our school offers education from kindergarten through 8th grade, with a focus on academic excellence and character development. As a public charter school, we are committed to preparing our students for success in high school and beyond, with the goal of graduating from a four-year college.

At Arthur Ashe Charter School, we believe in providing a well-rounded education that goes beyond the classroom. Through our partnership with ESYNOLA, students have the opportunity to participate in gardening and culinary classes in our on-site garden and teaching kitchen. Additionally, we are a member of the New Orleans Charter School Athletic Association, offering students the chance to compete in a variety of sports such as flag football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, and softball.

In addition to our academic and athletic programs, Arthur Ashe Charter School also offers a range of extracurricular activities including visual art, dance, band, running club, yoga, and tennis club. We strive to provide unique opportunities for our students to explore new interests and broaden their horizons through local and out-of-town trips, cultural experiences, and college campus visits.
