"I’d give zero stars. Another patient slapped my son. My son walked away, but they put my son in solitary confinement because the other man only had a week left on his time, and they wanted to let him get done without conflict. My son walked out at that time because he was upset over this treatment, but he returned the same day and was readmitted, then someone decided that because of some policy they couldn’t readmit him. And they drove him home. The counselor who witnessed all this affirmed that my son was telling the truth. He should have been in Edgefield until Dec 20. He died from fentanyl poisoning on Dec. 18. Do not go here. Do not encourage people to go here."

"All the pics are fake. Their counselor Kyle talks about getting oral favors from girls in early recovery and the counselor Delayne has only been sober like a year. The food is horrible and they don't separate the men and women patients so no one is focused on recovery."

"I went into Edgefield in 2021at a very difficult time in my life!! Battling a poly substance addiction that had taken so much from me over the years. I was just coming out of jail, separated from my wife and my grandmother whom I was closed to was very sick. The staff was very caring!! From the administration to the techs!! The counselors went above and beyond!! During my stay my grandmother passed and the staff worked with me. After doing some extra time I was still able to complete!! Edgefield impacted my life greatly!! Jason, Bobby, Larry, Chris and Bro. Keith all encouraged me daily along with the women techs!! I would like to thank them all, as well as the nurses and doctor!! That has been almost 2 and a half years ago and now I am getting to refer a family member I dearly love to the program!! Edgefield is continuing to impact my life and my family's!! I am beyond thankful!!"

"I attended for 30 days. The facility was well kept. It’s a huge plantation house. If you’re an addict struggling with staying sober, I’d recommend this place 1st. The staff is respectable. Some, not all. They have techs there that will power trip, not leaving the advertised “snacks or drinks” out, telling you, you have to wait until morning at 8pm when you were served dinner at 5pm. Not enough time to engage in physical activities. More worried about drama than well-being of the clients there. The counselors do a decent job of targeting your needs. That’s mainly the only complaint I had besides the food sometimes being baked when it didn’t have to be. Meals were mostly good other than that. Good hospitality there and the nurses are phenomenal."
