"I believe Pesson was built in 1960 and I went there from '63 to '69 so it was practically a new school. I enjoyed my time there. Many good memories. Still remember in first grade was when JFK was shot and recall the teachers crying. At one time you could ride your bike around the cafeteria/auditorium. Many times I had races with other neighborhood kids. I lived 3 blocks from this school and I walked to it."
