"They text you a appointment time a five hour window, you set there waiting for them all day, the five hr go not a phone call or a text saying they are going to be late you got to call and track them down. Then when you do finally get ahold of them they want you to meet them somewhere then you are on your own. It will be desperate times for me to use them!"
"NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! I have unfortunately had to deal with this company quite often and our shipments are NEVER on time or they will misdeliver or loose your shipment all together. Customer service is horrible. Everyone is rude and they are of no assistance at all. I encourage you to read the negative reviews because they are true! I am speaking of experience with less than truck load 4-12 shipping pallets."
"They agree to pick up product but when they go to deliver that is when they realize they can't actually deliver it to that location so then they TURN AROUND and return it back to the shipper. Excuse me but wouldn't you check that before wasting everyone's time and money?"
"R&L is going to be the death of me! Sadly, I have ordered product from two different retailers whom both choose R&L as their delivery company. First was my flooring (we are doing a complete remodel of my grandmother's country home). I paid for threshold delivery, which means they are supposed to call me in advance and schedule an appointment to deliver the flooring inside. On two separate occasions, I received a call from the delivery drivers (both were extremely kind and understanding) letting me know they were about an hour out from my address. Since I live 4-hours away, I was not able to be at the residence for delivery. So, they went on their routes. Both noticed the product was loaded incorrectly, so they were not able to access the other products on their trailer located behind my pallets of flooring for the other customers waiting for deliveries that day. (This may be why many of you are not receiving your deliveries as scheduled. The trucks are loaded improperly.) After many frustrating calls, and rude employees arguing and giving me an attitude, I finally went back to the retailer where I purchased the tile, and they are now recalling my order as one of the drivers noticed my tile flooring has now been compromised with all the loading/unloading of it. Well, interestingly enough, I also ordered a large 48" range from a second retailer and they, too use R&L. In all the calls back/forth with R&L about my tile, no one bothered to let me know they had my range. They "claim" to have left me messages on 5 or 6 different dates regarding my range. When I contacted that retailer to ask them about my delivery, they showed it was already delivered! R&L claimed to have delivered my range! The retailer conferenced in R&L to confirm they still had my range and the male employee who was on the phone was extremely rude and dismissive to me. He talked over me, interrupted me, and kept insisting his notes were correct and they had been leaving me messages. He then threatened to return my product if they could not deliver that next afternoon. Thankfully, the retailer recorded the call and both the customer service representative and her manager were appalled at the way he treated me. They did share that they have monthly meetings with the carrier's management team, so hopefully, they will address some of these issues that so many of us are having. With both products, I was very clear on my order that the items needed to be scheduled for delivery. With both products, the staff at R&L (in the warehouse) have been very rude, short, and seemed to be bothered that I would need an appointment. The only kind people I have dealt with there are the drivers themselves. I still do not have either of my orders, but I wanted to make sure this was documented somewhere so once it arrives, the management at R&L knows it better be in pristine condition!"
"These are incredibly inhospitable and rude people. The lady who answered the phone who I assume is the receptionist or wife is a raging narcissist. She verbally assaulted me for calling her while she is in a meeting like I'm supposed to know and her number is the only number listed. Do not work for these people, you are on the fastest do not let these people work for you."
