"It is my opinion that anyone working in pelvic medicine be trauma informed. I specifically let the doctor and staff know of my trauma history and requested that they please be sensitive to that but they were not. The doctor was the least concerned about my comfort during the exam and had extra people in the room that didn’t need to be there without asking my permission. The exam was very painful and she assessed different areas to locate the muscles responsible for my symptoms and I felt unprepared for that level of discomfort. Also I felt like I couldn’t say no to anything she was doing, including when she told me my surgical incision still wasn’t healed and it needed to be cauterized with silver nitrate today and “probably several more times.” She was pushy about it, “are you gonna let me do it?!” She didn’t explain most of what she was doing as she probed and prodded. She knows her anatomy and physiology of the area was able to Identify the specific muscles that were causing my pain but she was anything but gentle and careful even Though I specifically shared my needs with her and her staff before the exam. I canceled my follow up appt because the more I thought about my experience the more violated I felt by the all of it. Then about a week later I received lab results from specimens from my body that she didn’t even tell me she was taking for testing so there was no explanation. If someone is ordering medical tests I want to be notified prior. Don’t just take specimens and send them somewhere without my knowledge or consent."

"Excellent Doctor, after going urologist over and over, to find the issue and pain in my bladder, and doctors order test after test and couldn't help me or give an answer for my pain, I decided to see my Obgyn maybe it was female issue, he did the regular exams pap smear everything was fine, but he refer me to his college Dr Khan she is a Obgyn Urologist and I love her and her nurse, they were the best explaining procedures, she was concerned about my pain, she took some samples and assured me that she was going to help me find the cause of my pain, and sure enough once she got the results her nurse call me back and call the meds in after I finish the meds and went back to see Dr Khan, I was totally feeling better, the burning, the pain, pressure was gone I highly recommend Dr Khan."

"I was late for my appointment and I was rescheduled for the very next day! I’ve never had that happen. The staff and Dr. Kahn’s office are very helpful kind and courteous. I felt very comfortable throughout my whole visit even though I’m scared about why I was there I felt very comforted afterwards and felt like I was an extremely capable pain and has finally found a doctor that can help me. I’m looking forward to continuing my treatment with Dr. Kahn"
